Terms of Service

These terms apply when you shop at sew.makemefancystudios.ca, run by Make Me Fancy in Ontario, Canada. By placing an order you agree to them.

Sewing kit subscriptions

  • Your first kit is paid when you sign up. After that, your card is charged automatically on the 16th of each month for the following month's kit.
  • You can skip a month by the 15th (Eastern Time) of the month before it ships. Skips after the 15th apply to the next month.
  • You can cancel anytime from your account. Cancelling stops future charges; kits already paid for will still ship.
  • If you don't choose a project for a month, we'll send the next project in the suggested order in your last style and size.
  • Extra kits are discounted 20%, valid for that delivery only. Discounts are non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers.
  • One subscription per account.

Pre-orders and shipping

Products are sold on a pre-order basis. Delivery estimates and order deadlines are shown on each product page. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. We're not responsible for carrier delays, but we'll help you track down any lost parcel.

Promo codes

Promo codes apply only as described, can't be combined unless stated, and may end at any time.

Returns and damaged items

Because fabric is pre-cut for your order, kits can't be returned once shipped. If anything arrives damaged, missing or incorrect, email info@makemefancystudios.ca within 14 days of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right.

Safety

Sewing involves needles, pins, scissors and machines. Children should sew with adult supervision. Kits contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3.

Content and patterns

Our patterns, tutorials, photos and book content are for your personal use. Please don't copy, resell or share them commercially.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
